My mom and I care for dad and we are doing all that we can to help him in every way. It is indeed very tough seeing dad go through this. I do have a lot of regrets. I wish i could do more but it is just not possible at this stage. But i agree with you, our mothers are the real heroes. I would be lost without my mom.
This is something I decided to write about dad. It definitely helped me feel a little okay: https://richardpaulmurray.blogspot.com/2018/10/daddy.html?fbclid=IwAR0ulS51HS_JFKf71pK8uMSp74yvfmdAabLIasSWC_SJnCH-FksR-J5RPmM

Thank you for sharing your story, Eshwar. It helps to know that there are many others who go through what I am going through. There are lessons and I have a lot more to learn. I want to do so much more for dad and I just hope I can always do whats best for him.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00463199914053409076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-794584339544033566.post-80504183193527619352016-02-02T18:08:45.413+05:302016-02-02T18:08:45.413+05:30Dost, these experiences of your life are not only ...Dost, these experiences of your life are not only a teacher for you but for all of them who are associated with you. And today when stand without "him", I recollect almost all that he did to me - the pride & scare that I saw in his eyes when I first drove his scooter at the age of 12; the way he told each of his friend when I got through the MBA entrance; a ‘proud’ shoulder, the day I got a software "engineer" job without an engineering degree; the way he “clung” to me when he saw his grandson….and off course, the day he quit cigarettes when he knew I smoked…Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17773178459139697460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-794584339544033566.post-41037527787100563752013-09-12T22:34:41.714+05:302013-09-12T22:34:41.714+05:30Thank you, Srividya, for your kind comment.
